Design of the STC prodrug platform, informed by the known metabolic liabilities of testosterone and a physiology-led approach to liver activation.

In vitro activation studies

Liver-cell studies across four species (mouse, rat, dog, and human) evaluating conversion efficiency relative to a reference compound.

Rodent proof-of-concept

Mouse studies evaluating testosterone levels following administration, alongside molecular simulations of binding to the liver enzymes involved in activation.

04Current focus

Analog synthesis and in vitro screening

Ongoing synthesis and screening of STC analogs to guide lead selection, alongside structured customer and stakeholder discovery.

Translational PK and formulation

Planned rat and dog pharmacokinetic studies and formulation feasibility work to inform lead analog and formulation strategy.

IND-enabling toxicology and CMC

Future toxicology studies and chemistry, manufacturing, and controls (CMC) work to support eventual FDA engagement.
