SteroCore Therapeutics

Our origin

Built from pharmacy-driven science.

SteroCore originated from research in Dr. Michael Hageman's laboratory at the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy. The program grew from a patient-care observation into a preclinical drug-development effort focused on improving oral testosterone delivery.

Why we started SteroCore.

Testosterone deficiency is common and often long-term, and the therapies available today (injectables, topical gels and patches, and multi-dose oral options) are frequently difficult for patients to stay on over time. SteroCore was founded to pursue a more practical oral option, grounded in physiology-led pharmaceutical science and stepwise preclinical validation.

How we approach development.

SteroCore's near-term focus is completing the preclinical studies (in vitro activation, animal pharmacokinetics, and formulation feasibility) needed to responsibly support future regulatory interactions. The company draws on decades of combined pharmaceutical development and FDA-facing regulatory experience across its founding and advisory team.
